The Cheap Chic Interiors Back Story

Susan Smith was a Realtor for 23 years in the Central New York market. While showing homes she quickly learned what buyers liked, what they didn't like... and, most importantly - what made them buy. Susan used that knowledge to help hundreds of sellers prepare their homes for sale. She was "staging" homes long before it had a name and became a national trend.

Susan helped many clients, friends and relatives decorate their homes over the years.  She decided to put her decorating passion to work and fill a need for affordable decorating. Because of her years of experience in real estate, home staging and redesign naturally became her specialties!

Cheap Chic Interiors was born in November  2007.
